Scholarships

Beta Theta Pi believes that college men should be recognized for their success and for their desire to achieve. In fact, for more than 165 years, our Fraternity has been in the business of building men of principle. Beta strives to provide strong relationships as well as leadership opportunities and personal development. For many members, these skills have transferred to professional life. You have probably heard of some of them... Wal-Mart founder Sam Walton, Coaching Great John Wooden, Retail Guru Bruce Nordstrom, and Senator Richard Lugar, to name a few.

In hopes of providing these same opportunities to you, Beta Theta Pi offers scholarships. We seek men who demonstrate devotion to academic achievement and a commitment to making both the college and community better places to live. Most importantly, we seek men who desire to develop skills that will help them become successful in college but will also carry over to their professional and personal lives thereafter.

Men of Principle Scholarship

The Men of Principle Scholarship Grant Program was established in 1999 through generous donations to the Beta Theta Pi Foundation to help individual chapters and colonies of the Fraternity recognize unaffiliated (non-Greek) male students on college campuses. We seek to reward these men for their devotion to the values that the Fraternity holds dear to our hearts – mutual assistance, intellectual growth, trust, integrity, and responsible conduct – and for outspoken, positive leadership in our communities. To apply for this scholarship, please check our chapter's social media pages around mid-September/early October. Selected candidates will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
